UEC ROAD CHAMPIONSHIPS
TRENTO SEPTEMBER 8th – 12th, 2021
Five days, thirteen titles up for grabs among 800 athletes, representing 50 Countries. On September 2021, the lights of top-end cycling will be pointed on Trentino and on the city of Trento, where the new Road Continental Champions will be crowned.
A major fixture in the cycling season, winking particularly at those riders whose characteristics don’t match the demands of the Olympic Games in Tokyo. If the Olympics will be a climbers’ business, Trentino will be calling for strong allrounders with a fast finish: a profile that fits the reigning European Champion, Giacomo Nizzolo, but also many other major names in cycling, who will be adding the finish in Piazza Duomo to their list of big goals.
Unparalleled factory of cycling talent in Italy, Trentino and Trento are ready for a new chapter of their long love story with the two-wheels sport.
After postponing the event due to the COVID pandemic, the OC unveiled the new dates of the UEC Road European Championships in Trento (Northern Italy). The logo and schedules have been updated, no changes in the race course.
The European Cycling Union and the Italian organizers agreed to push the event one year forward. The new date is to be set in early September 2021
The UEC Road European Championships, to be held from September 9th to 13th, have undergone to slight variations after the inspections carried out in Trento
