Second place for the eve’s number one favorite, German Hanna Ludwig, almost 40″ slower than the Italian, while Elena Pirrone got only 7″ delay on the silver medal. Guazzini gets her 2nd European medal after Junior ITT gold back in 2018.

Vittoria Guazzini: “I’m very happy, winning at home is special. I didn’t feel the fatigue. The European U23 Time Trial was an important goal of the season and I’m happy to have hit it. In recent days I was very cautious: I am a superstitious girl and then there were many strong contenders, it was important not to underestimate anyone. I’m very proud: I handled myself well and I’m particularly happy with how I interpreted the race. The course was suitable for me, for specialists: I pushed from the beginning to the end and it went well“.
