Elite Men Road Race
The 179,2 Km route for the Men’s Elite Road Race features an opening 73 Km loop in the Valle dei Laghi. After the start from Piazza Duomo in Trento and the crossing of km 0 in Corso del Lavoro e della Scienza, the route winds through the Valle dei Laghi and the area of the Monte Bondone, climbed up to the village of Candriai. After the KOM in Candriai, a descent will bring the race back to Trento to face the 13.2 km final circuit, to be repeated 8 times, characterized by the Povo climb (3.6 km at 4.7%). The last 4 kilometers are flat, running in the city center where the finish line is placed, like the start, in the beautiful Piazza Duomo.
