Valle dei Laghi: Land of nature, relax, and great wines

Fifteen minutes by car from Trento, the Valle dei Laghi (Lakes Valley) is an uncontaminated and evocative territory. The charming atmosphere created by its bodies of water, the vineyards with their unique aromas and flavours and its beautiful medieval villages and castles. A magical place, where the mountains are reflected in the clear waters of dozens of small alpine lakes, spread all over the valley.

This special corner of Trentino is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday: you can take long and pleasant walks in the nature between Toblino Lake, enjoy the beauty of the homonymous castle along its shores, and the fascinating lakes of Lamar, Terlago, Cavedine and Santa Massenza. On the banks of the latter, the Santa Massenza power plant by Dolomiti Hydrotour can be found: a suggestive construction carved into the rock at a depth of 600m, where water is transformed into power.

Wines and landscapes to enjoy

Valle dei Laghi is also renowned for its excellent wines: the vineyards of the valley produce fine wines such as Nosiola and Trentino DOC Vino Santo that can be tasted in the many cellars of the area, along with the typical local products. But also sport lovers can feel at home in this area thanks to the numerous rock-climbing walls, hiking trails and cycling routes of varying difficulty. Hang-gliding or paragliding, wake board and windsurfing, canoeing, sailing and kayaking can also be practiced in this area.

These beautiful landscapes can also be enjoyed riding an e-bike, thanks to a series of facilities developed throughout the valley that allow tourists to move easily.
